She Speaks Film Festival is a celebration of bold, inspiring stories created by women. Founded in Taylor, Texas, our mission is to amplify the voices of women filmmakers and showcase films that challenge, entertain, and move audiences.

We welcome narratives across all genres, short and feature-length, that explore diverse experiences, perspectives, and creativity. Our inaugural festival is designed to create a supportive and inclusive space where women’s stories take center stage and audiences are inspired.

The festival weekend kicks off with a Festival Mixer on September 18 at Judy Blundell's gallery, bringing filmmakers, creatives, and supporters together to connect and celebrate. The official screenings will take place on September 19 at the historic Howard Theatre, followed by an Awards Ceremony at The Black Sparrow, honoring outstanding films.
