Shared Sight Film Festival
A collaboration between Strange Little Obsessions and Graeae Horror

Shared Sight Film Festival is a curated showcase of independent horror cinema, forming part of Strange Little Obsessions 2026, an alternative horror and creative culture event based in Nottingham, UK

We’re not building a traditional film festival

We prioritise films that are not widely available online

While we will consider films currently on the festival circuit, we are particularly interested in work that has not been publicly released or is not freely accessible online, as this helps us create a more unique and immersive screening experience for our audience

We’re creating a space where films are experienced with an engaged, live audience who genuinely care about independent horror, storytelling, and the craft behind it

In collaboration with Graeae Horror, Shared Sight focuses on bold, atmospheric, and thought-provoking horror from emerging and established filmmakers alike

Selected films will be screened across the event weekend as part of a carefully curated programme, not an endless schedule. We prioritise quality, tone, and experience over volume

🖤 What to expect:

Live screenings across the event weekend
A curated selection of short films and limited feature slots
Audience engagement in an immersive horror-focused environment
Opportunities for filmmaker Q&As and discussion (where possible)

🩸 Why submit?

Your work won’t be lost in a sea of hundreds of films.
We take a selective, intentional approach to programming, ensuring each chosen film has space to be seen, appreciated, and remembered
