Shameless Plug, hosted by Eccentric Artists, serves as a celebration where artists may shamelessly plug what they do best! As we enter our 6th year, we would like to proudly present our Film Festival: a new extension of our annual event in Las Vegas, NV.

Shameless Plug FILM FEST is a long awaited addition to our roster, emerging as an avenue to focus on filmmakers and the cinematic craft. We trust that the passion for creating and consuming film can bring our fest-goers together in the hopes that you will all keep pursuing your artistic endeavors long after the credits roll. So please, when you are here, we encourage you to connect, create, and collaborate!

This screening is open to all genres and all forms of film! We are accepting Short Films, Music Videos, Student Films, and Short Documentaries. U.S and International films.

Additionally, our fest will feature a special “themed” block. Since Eccentric Artists is currently in production for our Filipino gothic story “GAMU-GAMO”, we want to celebrate and honor AAPI stories this year! Join us during this curated film block and let your voices be heard.

Eccentric Artists is a women-led film and event production company established in 2020 that specializes in producing stylistic films, social-impact commercials, and live events that empower artists to connect, create, and collaborate. We partner with creatives, organizations, and local businesses to deliver meaningful, community-driven work.

About Shameless Plug
Shameless Plug began in 2021 as Eccentric Artists's first in-person event after a year of online events and virtual film screenings. Born as a celebration of our anniversary, we opened the doors to every creative in the community to come honor the arts in every form. Each year we welcome 500+ attendees, 30+ vendors, live performers, film screenings, workshops, and panels, all in the name of artistry and community.

Eccentric Artists Award (must be a Nevada filmmaker to qualify)
Presented to a Nevada filmmaker whose work best embodies the mission of Eccentric Artists. This award reveres bold, purposeful storytelling that promotes inclusivity, amplifies underrepresented voices, and creates meaningful impact. It’s recognition for those who craft with intention and contribute to the shared upward mobility of artists in Nevada.

Rules & Terms

General Rules:
- All submissions must be original work. The filmmaker or production company must hold all rights to the submitted film, including music, footage, and any other content used.
- Films must either be submitted in English or include English subtitles.
- Submitters must ensure all cast and crew listed have given consent to be represented in the submission.
- FilmFreeway is the official submission platform for this event and therefore all submissions must be made through FilmFreeway.

Eligibility:
- We are accepting Narrative Short Films, Student Films, Music Videos, and Short Documentaries.
- Films of any genre are eligible for the general screening category.
- Films completed within the last 2 years are eligible.
- There is no restriction on country of origin.
- Films with AAPI themes, stories, on-screen leads, or voices are encouraged to submit to our special AAPI themed block.
- No premiere status required. Previously screened or awarded films are welcome to submit.

Technical Requirements:
- Films must be submitted via a viewable online screener link or uploaded directly to FilmFreeway.
- Recommended format is HD 1080p or higher.
- No DCP requirements.

Selection:
- All films will be reviewed by our programming team. Submitters will be notified of their selection status by the date listed on the FilmFreeway listing.
- Selection is at the sole discretion of Eccentric Artists and the Shameless Plug programming team.

Rights & Permissions:
- By submitting, filmmakers grant Shameless Plug Film Fest and its company, Eccentric Artists, the right to screen their film at the event and use stills or clips for promotional purposes. Filmmakers retain all rights to their work.

Policies:
- Submission fees are non-refundable.
- If a selected film is withdrawn after acceptance, submission fees will not be reimbursed and the slot may be offered to another filmmaker.
- Eccentric Artists reserves the right to update or modify these rules at any time.
