SERIENCAMP, the first festival for TV-series in Germany, is proud to announce its fourth annual SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE, taking place in Munich on November 8th to 9th 2018.
SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE focuses on TV industry professionals and creatives and offers a rich program with keynotes, case studies, screenings, discussions and networking events. At the heart of the event are the pitching sessions: the popular WRITERS’ VISION PITCH and the DIGITAL SHORT FORM PITCH as well as CO-PRODUCTION SESSIONS, for which the call for project is now open.

HOW TO SUBMIT – Please read first!
1. Create a new project

2. Fill out form with PROJECT TITLE and CONTACT EMAIL (no additional information is needed at this stage!)

3. Please split your submission into two separate PDF files:

PDF file A
- one-page overview with title/ genre / country of origin → please download .doc on website
PDF file B
- series bible (pilot treatment, characters, story arc, writers, visuals...)
- (if applicable) pilot script OR pilot script sample
Both files may contain images but should not exceed the size of 20 MB

4. Go to PRIVACY, set PROJECT VISIBILITY to FESTIVAL ONLY (guaranteeing that project details are private)

5. Submit your project to either CO-PRODUCTION SESSION, WRITERS’ VISION PITCH or DIGITAL SHORT FORM PITCH (more details below)

6. (if applicable!) Upload key visuals, test footage, teaser or mood trailer to the link you’ll receive by email.

..:: CO-PRODUCTION SESSIONS ::..

For the the second time SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE will feature SERIENCAMP CO-PRODUCTION SESSIONS – an initiative featuring eight high-end international drama series pitched to a selected audience of producers, distributors, investors and potential partners. Carefully selected by SERIENCAMP’s ADVISORY BOARD of experts, these projects showcase the exciting range of upcoming and in-development productions in 15 minutes pitch presentations. The presentations are followed by opportunities to meet key-decision makers from the Drama Series industry in one-on-one-meetings.

Please submit your project as two PDF-files containing:

REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Project must be submitted by producers
- Project must origin within an EU country or must have attached at least one European production partner
- Project wasn’t presented at another market before
- Project must have a minimum of four episodes. Half hour or hour length are accepted.
- Only drama series are accepted, no documentaries or animations. All genres are welcome (drama, dramedy, thriller, sci-fi, period drama, crime, comedy, etc.).
- Project must be presented in English language
- Subsidies for travel and accommodation costs available
- Project must be presented by at least one representative

..:: WRITERS' VISION PITCH ::..

SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE offers professional European writers the chance to pitch their unique ideas for a series to an audience of producers, financiers and decision makers – no matter if high-end drama, comedy, factual or animation. Six projects selected by our jury will be invited to participate in the pitch session.

Please submit your project as two PDF-files containing:

- short bio of writer(s)

B. - series bible (pilot treatment, characters, story arc of first season, short biography, visuals...)
- (if applicable) pilot script OR pilot script sample

REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- The writer must be the originator/owner of the series
- No production company or broadcaster must be attached to the project (please submit under CO-PRODUCTION SESSIONS)
- The project must not have been pitched at a public pitching session before
- Project pitch should be visualized with mood pictures and/or trailer
- Pitching language is English. Each pitch must not exceed 10 minutes

No matter if you’re planning the next web series distributed via Vimeo, if you’re pitching the first season of your A.I.-written series filmed exclusively by drones or sticking to tried-and-true serial storytelling formulas while exploring the digital frontier of distribution – Seriencamp’s DIGITAL SHORT FORM PITCH is for you!

Six projects will be selected to pitch at SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE to an audience of producers, writers and decision-makers. Pitch participants have the opportunity to book roundtable meetings with members of the DIGITAL SHORT FORM JURY – experts from funding, production, broadcasting and distribution who will offer their opinions and advice.

REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Project has a maximum length per episode of 20 minutes
- Project is aiming for a digital distribution (youtube, vimeo, instagram, snapchat, etc.)
- The project’s serial storytelling is not mandatory fictional, it can also be experimental, factual, transmedial, crossmedial, interactive, etc.
- The creator must be the originator/owner of the digital series
- The project was not pitched in public before (festivals, etc.)
- Project pitch should be visualized with mood pictures (or trailer)
- Pitching language is English
