Scotland’s only annual film festival dedicated to powering women in film since 2018. We will be screening amazing films directed and produced by women, throughout the weekend.

A festival of critically acclaimed films, special guests, and events hosted on the Isle of Tiree.

Join us on the beautiful Isle of Tiree where you can swim in the clear seas, attend beach Yoga/Pilates and explore beautiful Hebridean landscapes and dramatic skies.

Our international program aims to showcase films made by female and non-binary filmmakers, to expand cinema's boundaries by reaching a more diverse audience. By connecting deeply with Tiree's landscape and culture, the festival inspires fresh ways of gathering and exchanging experiences through film.

We also have a family programme to ensure everyone can be involved. This includes films, workshops and activities

Rules & Terms

1) Your film needs to be directed by a female or non-binary person

2) Your film has to be in English, Gaelic or have English subtitles

3) By submitting your film you are allowing us to use your film for a touring programme

5) A student film is a film made by a current or recent graduate of a full or part-time education program

    This festival is absolutely unique, and it was an honour to premier our feature film in such a beautiful location. The weekend was really empowering and beautifully curated, celebrating women filmmakers with diverse films, inspiring workshops, sea dips, and a warm communal atmosphere. An unforgettable experience.     Transformative, empowering, uplifting - that's how I feel about Sea Change. It's not just a festival, it's an experience!
    I arrived on Tiree a frazzled filmmaker after three years of making our documentary - I left feeling ready to take on the world with our film. An absolutely first class festival.
    Jen and the team put their heart and soul into creating a really special, supportive environment. We had a world premiere for our documentary, and I couldn't have wished for a better place to hold it. A real filmmakers' festival.
