Submissions are evaluated not only on story quality and market fit, but also on presentation and professional readiness. Please ensure the following:
- Scripts are written in industry-standard screenplay format.
- A professional, concise logline is included.
- Materials reflect care and intention.

Submission Requirements
* All submissions must be made electronically.
* Screenplays must be written in English and submitted as a PDF file.
* Files must not be encrypted, scanned, or password-protected.

Eligibility & Ownership
* There is no limit to the number of submissions per writer or per project.
* All submission fees are non-refundable.
* All submitted material must be original and fully owned by the submitting writer(s).
* All copyright and ownership rights remain with the original rights holders.
* Scriptmatix does not claim ownership of submitted material.

Formatting & Professional Standards
* All scripts must follow industry-standard screenplay format. Submitted material that is not formatted per industry standard will be disqualified.
* Professional submission standards will be considered as part of the evaluation process.
* All submissions must be in PDF format, unencrypted or password-protected. Failure to submit the proper format will result in disqualification.

Page Limits
* Feature screenplays: maximum 130 pages
* Television pilots: maximum 75 pages
* Short screenplays: maximum 30 pages

Repeat Submissions
* Previous fellowship winners may not win the same contest more than once.
* Previous finalists, semifinalists, and quarterfinalists may resubmit without restriction.

Evaluation & Rights
* By submitting, writers agree to have their material evaluated by Scriptmatix.
* Writers retain full ownership of their work and may withdraw their submission at any time.

Analysis Disclosure
* All analyses are delivered through email and reside on the Scriptmatix platform, under the submitter's email.
* Scriptmatix analysis reports are reviewed and reviewed by human readers, with AI-assisted tools used to support structural and scene-level insights.
* Scene-by-scene analyses are generated within the Scriptmatix Story Engine and are designed to be leveraged directly inside the Scriptmatix platform as part of Story Engine's Rewrite Toolkit.
* Submitted material is never used for AI training, and all intellectual property remains the sole property of the writer. Scriptmatix does not share, license, or exploit submitted works.
