Save The Waves Film Festival is an global film tour and fundraiser for Save The Waves’ environmental programs and campaigns.

STWFF aims to educate and inspire audiences to protect surf ecosystems across the globe.

A film fest with real change: STWFF is a fundraiser and community event, while benefiting valuable coastal conservation and environmental efforts.

Rules & Terms

Please only submit your film if it pertains to our festival themes: surf, ocean, outdoor/adventure, environmentalism and conservation. If your film is broadly outside of our categories without considerion for our festival theme, we will have to disqualify your submission.

After Selection:

All filmmakers need to download and sign our filmmaker release form and email your signed copy to films@savethewaves.org. This 2024 Documentation is due upon notification of your selection.
