This review is very late! But I loved my time at the Salt City Film Festival. It's a new festival but I can see how it will grow and evolve over time. The staff, the venue (Fox Theatre), the gift bags (love my t-shirt!), and the programming (very well thought out), all exceeded my expectations. I think there could be better communication to the filmmakers about hospitality and networking events since we were all just sort of left standing around at the end of the screenings, which was actually fine because we all got to talk to each other. I met some lovely filmmakers and film fans and recommend submitting! (You can tell the staff really love film which is a huge bonus!) Can't wait to see how the Salt City Film Festival grows into the festival it's meant to be!

Had a wonderful time and saw my film on the big screen for the first time. All the staff were very helpful. SCFF is still young and willing to try innovative ideas such as the Friday night screening of thriller and terror films in an underground salt mine.

Paid for the screenwriting competition. Was "selected." Attended the festival and was ignored. No mention was ever made of my work. Complete waste of time and money. Would not recommend.
