Eligibility Requirements
Films must be written, produced, directed, shot (cinematographer ) or co-directed by a woman
Films must have been completed after January 1, 2024
All languages accepted (English subtitles required if not in English)
Multiple submissions allowed (separate entry fees apply)
No Premiere Status requirements
**Student Films MUST be sent from Student Email to qualify**
Runtime Guidelines (timing includes credits)
Micro Shorts: 1–4 minutes
Short Films/Episodes: 5-20 minutes
AGREEMENT OF USE: By submitting to She Creates Shorts Fest, filmmakers agree to have their work publicly screened on the listed event date.Filmmakers and guests agree to allow the festival to use their likeness in promotional materials relating to the festival.
COPYRIGHT: All rights to the film must be owned by the filmmakers, including music and archive footage.
By attending or participating in, or attempting to attend or participate in an event, each ticket holder/attendee releases and holds harmless She Creates Shorts Fest, together with its parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, successors, sponsors, licensees, subcontractors and assigns, and their respective officers, directors, trustees, employees and agents, from any claims resulting from the ticket holder’s/attendee’s attendance or participation, or the attendance or participation of any guests or companions of the ticket holder/attendee. She Creates Shorts Fest is released of any and all liability for personal injuries (including death) and property loss or damage occasioned by, or in connection with, any activity or accommodations for its events.
