Ryan Sagun is an award-winning filmmaker. For his 2022 short film, entitled Vigilant, the young director won the “Best Super Short Film” award from Hollywood on the Tiber Film Awards in Italy. The success of the short film has led to a sequel film, called Vigilant Justice, which serves as Ryan’s feature length, directorial debut and is set to premiere in 2024. Another notable work of his–a short film called Chemistry (2023)–was featured at Aspiring Minds Film Festival Spring 2022, where he earned the award for “Most Aspiring Filmmaker” for his work as a producer, and has garnered over 600K views on Youtube.

Ryan is currently studying under the College of Arts & Letters at Sacramento State, and graduates in Spring 2024. He is working on obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, after already achieving his associate’s from Diablo Valley College in 2022.
