The RUSH Youth Film Festival is a four-day event at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre and throughout downtown St. Catharines.

We are programming evening screenings of short films from youth filmmakers to play before our feature length presentations. We have awards and prizes for films.

We welcome submissions from youth (30 and under) in all genres, including live action, animation, and other forms of visual experimentation. We encourage you to explore diverse themes and tell compelling stories that captivate and inspire audiences.

This is your chance to share your unique voice and perspective with a wide-ranging audience at a live screening at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre in Downtown St. Catharines on from May 13-18th 2024.

Rules & Terms

Films must be made by YOUTH (30 and Under)
Films must be less than 10 minutes.
Each student can submit up to three films.
Submit to as many categories as you like.
