Spencer and team were incredible hosts! The level of communication, attention to details and support of all the guests and film makers was over and beyond what anyone could ask for. We are so appreciative for being included in this years festival and would invite any and all film makers to submit with Romford. If you are looking to go to or be involved with a festival that truly cares about all the details, look no further. Thank you again Romford for taking such great care of us and HAVE A GOOD DAY! X

Thank you Spencer Hawkin and all the staff of Romford International Film Festival. From the moment our film The Consequence was selected, we had a great experience with RIFF. Spencer was thorough, humourous and offered those whose films were selected opportunities to talk to the local press about our films. I did a three minute film for their socials about our film. All the staff were really welcoming. I also liked watching a film from the EurAsian FF that runs in conjunction with RIFF. Sorry that I didnt see anymore. I went for three of the five days and wished I'd done all 5 days of the festival. I enjoyed the panels and also thank you to lawyer Silvia Schmidt who did a live link from Germany. Her knowledge and insight broke down a lot of the complications around all things legal in the film business. My questions were answered. Our short film The Consequence won the Jury Prize of the festival. We are honoured to have won it. It will spur us on in the long days ahead of trying to work on the feature and get funding. Thank you once again for an exciting experience. And above all to Spencer for his dry humour.

All round a great Festival! Well organised, friendly and supportive environment, and peopled by helpful and caring folk, with contributors and organisers mixing together in a very collegiate and positive atmosphere. And thrilled to win an award! Congratulations to Spencer and all the team. Romford Rocks!
