Step into the world of the Riservati Pictures Film Festival, a celebration of short films designed for those who crave the unexpected, the bizarre, and the untamed!

Following an incredible inaugural edition at the Whirled Cinema in Brixton, London, where we witnessed six outstanding finalists competing for the prestigious Riservati Short Award out of more than 200 submissions, the remarkable sci-fi "See The Sunrise" directed by Andy James Taylor emerged as the victorious film, captivating audiences with its brilliance.

Now, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our highly anticipated second edition!

Finally, your search for the perfect cinematic experience is over. Our festival is dedicated to showcasing movies that ignite your senses, with relentless pacing and captivating plot twists.

Prepare to be enthralled by the handpicked selection of films that will keep you on the edge of your seat. These are the kind of movies that demand your full attention, where even the thought of dozing off becomes an impossibility.

We welcome entries in the horror, thriller, sci-fi, action, action-comedy and fantasy genres, from 0 to 45 minutes!

At the end of the submission window, 10 selected films will compete for the Best Riservati Short Award during our annual event.

At our live event in London, UK, scheduled for June 2024, we will also present awards for Best Director, Best Performance, Best Screenplay, Best Editing, and Best Cinematography.

This event welcomes and embraces individuals from all walks of life.

Your background, beliefs, orientation, or past experiences hold no significance to us. Our primary focus lies solely on the power of storytelling.

If we find your movie compelling and fitting for our festival, we will gladly select it. Conversely, if it doesn't align with our vision, we may regrettably decline. Filmmaking preferences, much like any form of taste, are subjective.

Therefore, if your work isn't chosen, do not be disheartened. You may find yourself rejected by us only to triumph with an Oscar the following year.

  • Thank for you for selecting our film Excerpt From Home Movie, being very untraditional actually made for theatre, it's amazing to see film festivals take risks not only on experimental film, but experimental formats / medium blending genres.
