Join the revolution! The GRFF is a festival by filmmakers, for film lovers, all genres of film are accepted! What we care about is that your film has a good story, and that the production is done with quality. We truly encourage minority and female artists whose work is often overlooked to enter our festival. We want your films shown here, and we are determined to help make your voice heard.

At many festivals Fantasy and Sci-fi films are often pushed to the side, but here we understand that just because your main character may be a time traveling Gypsy
doesn't mean you don't have a good story!

At the GRFF the story is what's important. We don't care about big names or big budgets, (although that's not a bad thing if you have them!) But if you can hook us with your story your in!

Best of the fest (Feature) , Top director of Tommorow, Best short, Best actor, Best Actress, Best web content, Best special FX, Best NY made film, The Christina Wood memorial award, Audience award, all winners recieve subscriptions with ipitchtv.com pitch and sell TV or Movie ideas directly to Entertainment Industry .

Rules & Terms

Submitters warrant that they have the legal right to enter film work to the Revolution Film Festival.

If accepted, entrants will be solely responsible for delivering their exhibition video materials to and from the festival. If accepted RFF will need a DVD copy of film, or a digital download.

Entrants acknowledge that no fiduciary or confidential relationship now exists between the Festival and entrants, and entrants further acknowledge that no such relationship is established by these guidelines.

    They didn't even have a festival this year and randomly chose 2 films to be best short and feature. I paid $35 to submit to an actual film festival, and on Film Freeway it lists an actual festival, with screenings, and talk backs, and events and a red carpet, etc. I got an email with laurels saying we were an official selection a few months ago and then saying they were canceling their "live festival" and posting the winners on their facebook page.... I did not pay money to submit for a possible facebook shout out. I emailed them asking for a refund since they cancelled their whole festival and they never replied nor offered any explanation for cancelling their festival, and then on film freeway changed my status to "semi-finalist" instead of official selection, what their actual email to me said. Film Freeway had my back and gave me a full refund. Do not waste your money on this scam.
