An IMDb Qualifying Festival

VERY IMPORTANT: All written work, such as screenplays, must be submitted to the
appropriate category. DO NOT submit any written content to categories designated for film/video, such as drama, art-house, etc. Doing so will result in your submission being rejected.
Please DO NOT submit a film or video to the screenplay or written medium categories; they will also be rejected.
We hire experienced readers and judges for all textual content, but they do not assess films.

We hire skilled video reviewers who will not assess written materials.

Screenplay and Novel (ALL WRITTEN MATERIAL) awards will be announced a week or two after the official festival awards notification. Evaluating screenplays or novels is much more time-consuming for judges than judging films. This is due to the usual last-minute influx of submissions, reading lengthy scripts or novels, and having the judges discuss their findings in a forum.

From the creators of the "Depth of Field International Film Festival," "Docs Without Borders Film Festival," "WRPN.tv Women's International Film Festival," "WRPN.tv Screenplay Competition," and "LGBTQ-Unbordered International Film Festival," among many other highly successful festivals, all under the umbrella of the "WRPN.tv Entertainment Network," we bring you the "Religion Faith International Film Festival."

Faith- and family-based movies are becoming more popular in the movie business. Many directors are making movies with themes and messages related to religion and family. We created a religious film festival open to all faiths to showcase and award these movies. RFIFF provides opportunities for filmmakers to share their works with audiences who appreciate faith- and family-driven content

In today's world, where the concept of family is evolving, it's essential to have events that cater to a diverse audience. One way to do this is through RFIFF. We live-screen our Best of Festival winners and online-screen Best of Show, Outstanding Excellence, and Excellence winners on our network, WRPN.tv (Optional)

We accept films from around the world that show respect for different cultures, traditions, and values, while bringing people together.

Besides entertaining audiences, RFIFF provides education opportunities.

Faith— and family-based films have increased recently, with more filmmakers exploring religious and family themes and messages through their movies. Several factors have contributed to this trend, including a rise in the number of people who want to watch inspirational movies, technological advancements that make it easier and cheaper to produce high-quality movies, and a greater acceptance of faith-based content in mainstream media.

Opportunities for sub-category awards include cinematography, score, original concept, direction, SFX, acting, editing, and many more!

RFIFF and distribution colleagues guarantee distributor review for top winners in major categories.

VERY IMPORTANT: All written material, i.e., screenplays, must be submitted to their respective category. DO NOT submit written material to categories reserved for film/video, i.e., drama, art house, etc. Doing so will result in your submission being rejected.
Please DO NOT submit a film or video to the screenplay or any written medium category, as it will also be rejected.
We hire professional readers and judges for all written materials, and they will not review videos.
We hire professional video reviewers who will not review written material.

The movies must have English subtitles, unless the spoken language is English.

All submissions must include an inspirational, religious, or family theme. Even if they are not explicitly religious, they need a spiritual component. It doesn't matter what religion they practice or where they live, as long as their faith allows them to make wise choices for themselves, their families, and their communities.

We don't screen films without the producer's written consent.

We only live-screen the Best of Festival winners.
Our screening event is designed to collect audience reactions, which our distributors will use to inform their decisions. We don't conduct after-screening networking parties or seminars.

We have no control or influence over Polaris or any of our associate distributors' decisions. Anything beyond this point will be strictly negotiated between you and their distribution company. If you are still waiting to hear from them after sending your information, please get in touch with them directly, not us, as we are not a distributor. Please refer all questions to Adler & Associates, WWMPC, Cardinal XD, or CCS Releasing.

Winning an award in a subcategory does NOT qualify for screening and sending to our distributors.

REFUNDS POLICY: In the event you withdraw your submission before being Officially Selected, you will receive a refund.
If you withdraw AFTER being Officially Selected, there will be NO refunds.
All our judges, from selection to awarding, are paid. We don’t use unpaid volunteers.

Your project name will appear in the Official Selection list only if you have submitted the entire film into one of the 34 Major Categories.

Becoming an "Official Selection" means your film passed through the first judging stage (DID NOT get rejected) and is now able to go in front of the AWARD judges to decide the type of award (s) it will receive, if any. It doesn't mean your film will be screened.

We give feedback ONLY to rejected films and screenplays, giving them time to fix the problems and resubmit for free.

To ensure that each film or screenplay is viewed, read, studied, and rated individually, RFIFF has instituted a system where entries are not competing against each other but are recognized for their merits.
They compete against themselves: each entry is judged on individual merits and scored on an inherent value system.

When it's your turn to be evaluated, the judge's focus is on your film or screenplay, not on all the other films or scripts that are on cue; this ensures that they won't have comparisons going on in their minds when they should focus entirely on you.

Screenplays are accepted from anywhere in the world, but in English only.

- Screenplays must be in PDF format and submitted electronically through FilmFreeway only

- Every submitted script must include a title page with contact information.
- A treatment is optional (but helpful)

- RFIFF accepts:

-Unproduced and produced feature-length screenplays between 70 and 130 pages.
-Unproduced and produced short screenplays 40 pages and under.
-Unproduced and produced Teleplays and Webisodes of 45 to 70 pages.
-Unproduced and produced Webisodes of 10 to 20 pages.

- No limit to the number of original scripts you submit. Duplicate entries will be automatically disqualified.

- Substitutions will be accepted not later than 45 days before the festival's end date

- The decisions of the judges are final and shall not be disputed.

- Top winners understand that our associates do not guarantee representation or production deals.

-If your screenplay is rejected, we will tell you the reason (s), and you’ll have a chance to resubmit up to 30 days before the last deadline or the following season for free.
