The 2nd edition of the Regent’s Short Film Festival will run on Friday, March 24th 2026, at Regent’s University London, nestled in the heart of London, in Regent’s Park. Presented in the historic, original Bedford College building, young and emerging filmmakers and creatives from the UK and across the world will meet to present the best of their work. The program will include screenings, a panel of guest speakers, workshops, and provide networking opportunities with professionals in the industry and other filmmakers and creatives. A variety of genres are available for submission, such as drama, comedy, musical/music videos, thriller/horror, fantasy, screenplay, and other applicable categories. Submission is open to students and filmmakers aged sixteen and above.

Selected works will be screened in competition and be eligible for our awards mentioned below.

About the festival:
RSFF is being organized and put on by a group of hardworking and passionate students across multiple disciplines at Regent’s University London, who are excited to support and present up-and-coming young filmmakers and creatives from across the globe.

We love and support independent films. Art and great films deserve to be made and shown, despite budget, age, connections, or experience. The Regent’s Short Film Festival invites anyone above the age of sixteen to submit without any additional barriers or restrictions to submissions.

Our curation:

We are thrilled to be able to showcase a variety of genres that will reflect the many facets of human life- whatever theme fits under the sun, we’d be happy to include it! Art is transformative and powerful and represents the current world and the changes we’re all experiencing together. Through our curation, our audiences will be transported into many worlds and shifting perspectives.

All films selected will be eligible for our special awards, and no further action is required to submit your film for the awards. The awards span across every genre and length.
