The unmissable event celebrating young filmmaking talents is back for its 8ᵗʰ edition!
Created by true cinema enthusiasts, Les Regards de L’ICART honors the creativity and boldness of new voices in short filmmaking.
For this new edition, our goal is to highlight emerging directors from around the world who present innovative, activist, and committed cinema through an original international selection.
The winner of the Grand Prix will receive a €1,500 grant to support the continuation of their film projects.
*Attention: Non-French-language films must include French subtitles*
The Event :
Join us on March 10, 2026, at Le Chaplin Cinema for an exceptional evening of screenings, encounters, and discoveries.
For this edition, we are introducing two competitions:
A Very Short Film Competition, short films between 1 and 5 minutes,
A Short Film Competition, short films between 5 and 20 minutes.
Awards will be presented to the winners after the screenings, during a special evening at Le Chaplin Cinema.

Le rendez-vous incontournable des jeunes talents du cinéma revient pour sa 8ᵉ édition !
Créé par de véritables passionné·e·s du septième art, Les Regards de L’ICART célèbre la créativité et l’audace des nouvelles voix du court métrage.
Pour cette nouvelle édition, il nous tient à cœur de mettre en avant des réalisatrices et réalisateurs émergent.e.s venus du monde entier, qui proposent un cinéma innovant, militant et engagé, à travers une sélection internationale inédite.
Le ou la lauréat.e du Grand Prix remportera une dotation de 1 500 €, pour soutenir la poursuite de ses projets cinématographiques.
L'Évènement :
Rendez-vous le 10 mars 2026 au cinéma Le Chaplin pour une soirée exceptionnelle de projections, de rencontres et de découvertes.
Pour cette nouvelle édition, nous innovons en proposant deux compétitions :
Une compétition très court métrage avec des films d’une durée de 1 à 5 min
Une compétition court métrage avec des films de 5 à 20 min.
Les prix seront décernés aux gagnant.e.s après la projection des courts métrages, lors d’une soirée exceptionnelle au cinéma Le Chaplin.

This call for entries is open to young filmmakers aged 18 to 35, whether they are students, professionals, or passionate amateurs.
Les Regards de L’ICART offers a unique opportunity to showcase one’s work to an audience of film lovers and a jury made up entirely of industry professionals eager to discover and support the next generation of engaged filmmakers.
At the end of the evening, the following prizes will be awarded:
- Grand Prix de l’ICART
- Best First Film (categories: Very Short and Short)
- Coup de coeur
- Best Performance (only for films of 5 to 20 minutes)

Cet appel à candidatures s’adresse aux jeunes cinéastes de 18 à 35 ans, qu’ils soient en formation, professionnel.le.s ou passionné.e.s.
Les Regards de l’ICART offre une occasion unique de présenter son travail à un public de cinéphiles et à un jury exclusivement composé de professionnel.le.s, désireux de soutenir et découvrir la nouvelle génération de cinéastes engagés.
Au terme de la soirée, seront récompensés :
- Grand Prix de l’ICART
- Meilleur Premier Film (catégories : très court et court)
- Coup de Cœur
- Meilleure Interprétation (uniquement pour les films de 5 à 20 min)
