Regan is a multi-media artist from North Georgia. She has an MFA in Film & Television from SCAD. Her work is driven by nostalgia, as Regan has a love for mid-century aesthetics.
As a Filmmaker, Regan is fascinated by strong character studies and attempts to capture the human experience through dialogue-driven comedies. With Tongue Tied she wanted to “examine modern dating culture” by “reflecting on the absurdity of how modernity continues to affect the way we interact with each other.”
She is a writer, filmmaker, illustrator, and perhaps the world’s biggest Monkees fan.
“To be a filmmaker, you have to lead. You have to be psychotic in your desire to do something. People always like the easy route. You have to push very hard to get something unusual, something different.” -Danny Boyle
Regan Hutton is focused on character-driven comedies.
