A festival that will hold in the mega city of Lagos Nigeria This will be an annual event to recognize women film makers and realizes long-standing goals to support and encourage women working behind the camera and in front of the camera. It will have the normal ingredients of an international film festival but the main focus is on films made by women and films made about women

Awards & Prizes

The festival has two specific categories - competitive and non-competitive. The decision on which category all submitted films fall into will be made be a competent jury. Some awards will have prizes while some will have special mentions. These categories include:

By submitting your film, , you grant the right to REEL women international film festival and the promoter CLOUTMEDIA ltd the organizers of the Festival a nonexclusive license to use [your/ its] name, [photograph / logo], and likeness in connection with any and all publicity and promotional activities relating to the Festival, and its promotional activities and events.
You also confirm that you are the author of the film and the sole and exclusive owner of all rights now known in the Film and have full and exclusive rights to submit the film to the Festival. And that the film is not under option, nor has it been purchased by any third party. also that there is no current dispute as to the ownership of the film and that no rights or permissions are required from any third parties before the film can be screened at the Festival..
The decision of the jury of this festival is final and you agree to be bound by the decision. You understand and agree that the judges are not obliged to give any feedback to you regarding the film. and you cannot enter into litigation against the festival in whatsoever reason because your film wasn't selected or didn't win any prize

Permission to screen the film during the Festival and other associated promotional events. For the avoidance of doubt the location and timing of any screenings of the film shall be the sole decision of the organizers of the Film Festival. the organizers also reserves the right to exclude films which does not conform with the aims of the festival or which will offend the national spirits and liabilities of any participating country. that any failure to follow and adhere to the Rules and Regulations of the Festival including submitting films presenting sufficient technical qualities for good public screening will result in the disqualification of the film.
