The Reel BlaQue (RBFF) Film Fest is an event showcasing quality film,video, and alternate digital content for and by LGBTQIA+ people of African descent.
Our mission is to provide space for established and developing film storytellers and visual artists to present their work truthfully and without apology.
RBFF supports this mission by fostering resource sharing, education and artistic collaboration and utilizing various mediums; film video, animation, digital, Alternate Reality & Virtual Reality (AR/VR).

Rules & Terms

Reel BLACQUE film festival screens film video and alternate media works for and by Black LGBTQ people.

Reel BLACQUE screens works in the following formats:
1) Film 2) Streaming Digital 3) Animation 4) AR/VR 5) Amateur

Film & Digital video submissions: short (5-35 mins) or feature (40+ mins) in length.
Animation & AR/VR submissions: short (30 sec- 25 mins) or feature (30+ mins)
