This was a great festival - a lot of momentum. It is run by people who are passionate about films. There are several different venues that show the films around the city. Highly recommend.

Was amazing to be part of this film festival. I am a student filmmaker on the other side of the world and communication with me was first class, and I could feel I was truly part of the festival. Hope to make it there in person someday. Kudos t the organisers!

We were so honored to be selected for the Inaugural Red Rose Film Festival.

The communication was outstanding from the time of submission all the way through the close of the festival.

The venues were lovely (I'd see a film at Zoetropolis every week if I lived there!), the film selections were varied, interesting and well-made, the filmmakers were welcomed, but best of all THERE WAS AN AUDIENCE! It seemed the whole city of Lancaster came out to support the festival and watch the movies! What a treat to travel to a city and have a full house to see our film!

We can't thank the city and people of Lancaster enough for supporting independent film and to Ryan Shank, Ian Long and the whole RRFF team for creating such a wonderful festival and working so hard to engage the community. We were welcomed warmly by staff and filmgoers alike. It sure is nice to arrive at a festival after a long travel day to be greeted so warmly. This is both a festival for Lancaster and a festival for Filmmakers.

It truly is hard to believe this was year one as everything was so well done. Congratulations to RRFF!
