Recovery Voices Film Project is looking for short films with a focus on addiction and recovery from substance use. Recovery Voices Film Night seeks to share the gift of recovery with audiences by sharing short films on the topic of addiction and recovery. This event takes place at the iconic Sperry's Moviehouse in Downtown Port Huron. The inaugural event will take place September 20th 2019 and feature a block of short films outlining the pain and perseverance that addiction and recovery bring to the community, and how we can come together with the medium of film to better understand this ever growing epidemic. 25% of submission fees will be donated to community organizations that are helping to fight the disease of addiction

No awards or prize, we celebrate all filmmakers whose films are selected.

Films under 30 mins please. Film can be of any genre or medium but films must have a tie to addiction and/ or recovery. No completion date requirements. Film must be ready to exhibit by 9/15/2019 and delivered via .mov or .mp4 file.

    A great festival about recovery from drugs and alcohol. The programming was fantastic. Excellent films. Also, there was a wonderful Q & A between some of the filmmakers and the audience.
