Rebecca is a Writer, Director, Producer and co-CEO of Swift Rocket Films - a multi award winning independent film company which tells insightful and captivating stories.

Originally from Manchester, Rebecca trained as an actor at Drama Studio London and worked for many years in Theatre, TV and Film.

After having children, Rebecca moved behind the camera to work as an Assistant Director on High-End TV series and Films. Credits include, 'Slow Horses’ ‘Andor’, ‘ Boiling Point’,‘ You’, ’The Walk-In’,‘ Sweet Sue’, ‘Wonka’, ‘ Mr Burton’ and 'Goodbye June’.
Rebecca has worked alongside some renowned directors such as James Hawes, Rachel Leiterman, Paul Andrew Williams, Phil Barantini, Leo Leigh and most recently Kate Winslet.

Rebecca’s directorial debut short film ‘ Wake’ starring Alison Steadman, Louisa Clein, Stuart Campbell and Mark Frost, went on to win numerous awards and was screened on Virgin Atlantic flights as part of their in flight entertainment.

Rebecca's latest BIFA and BAFTA qualifying short film 'The Removed', starring Georgie Glen and Tom Christian has won countless awards at National and International festivals. As well as being featured on BBC SIX NEWS, The BBC World Today and The UK Tonight on SKY NEWS, the film was recently screened in The Houses of Parliament.

Rebecca has recently completed post production on her latest short film GRAIN starring Eva Pope and Bryony Miller. GRAIN will soon be starting its festival journey.

Rebecca also has a number of films in development including her debut feature film CARAVAN -a gritty funny and heart -wrenching comedy drama based on Helen Blakeman's award winning play. This is a coproduction between Title Page Films and Hello Deer Studios.

Rebecca is drawn to human stories, particularly those that are set within the backdrop of larger societal issues. Her background as an actor and extensive experience as an Assistant Director means Rebecca is perfectly placed as a director, she understands the needs of the performer whilst capturing the structure and soul of a project.
