OUR PAST WINNERS:
Greg Shapiro of New York, NY
From Greg...

"First off, thanks again for hosting this competition and offering the pass as a prize. Without it, I would not have had the direct access to the production and network executives at RealScreen. Meeting face-to-face in a networking or speed pitching session is infinitely more effective than a cold email. I am currently talking to a few production companies and networks who liked my speed pitch and asked me to reach out to them with the sizzler. I am awaiting their feedback, following up periodically and keeping in mind that development is a slow process. As a first-time producer/seller, I soaked up the entire experience.

It was a fantastic event start to finish. The speed pitching was organized so well, and the Brunico staff went above and beyond to help me get as many slots as possible to present. That was the most fun I've ever had in my life. The app was great for organizing my time, and the hotel was an excellent choice with great food, rooms, staff and amenities. I definitely plan on attending again in the future.

"This was a total gamechanger for me. It was an incredible opportunity. I started seeing my show as a commodity and started thinking realistically about how to get it to network. No one in the indie world is thinking about how to move their project outside the indie world, there's a huge disconnection. I also got a few leads, including the Food Network."
