Ravno Selo Film Festival is a festival of debut and sophomore films. It is open to young creators and authors from all over the world.
The Film Festival takes place in the village and our goal is not only to celebrate the art of cinema but also to cultivate a cinema audience in those authentic settings. Our purpose is to point out the fact that people in smaller communities also have a need for quality cultural content and that culture is not only consumed in big cities. Since our mission is to support young talents, there is a clear focus on debut and student films, as well as continuous work with young people through various workshops.
The International First or Second Film Festival will be held this year from June 27 to 30, 2024 for the 7th time, and we look forward to receiving your applications and spending four creative days in Ravno Selo.
We invite the directors with their debut (1st ) and sophomore (2nd) feature films as well as the directors with their short fiction and short documentaries to apply and compete for cash prizes.
The short film program will feature student films from film schools from around the world. This year, as well as in previous years, at the RSFF we have a selection of "Short 100 Minutes" in which professionals participate with their debut (1st ) or sophomore (2nd) short documentary film.
The traditional school and workshop will be held, along with the accompanying program "Filmić" for film amateurs from all over Serbia. During the two-week course, participants will shoot a film using their mobile phones with the guidance of a mentor director. The best video will be awarded a special recognition for pupil filmmaking.
The festival pays special attention to accompanying programs - details of this year's workshops will be announced soon.
