It was a pleasure and a privilege to screen Hot House at Ranelagh film festival alongside so many other great short films. The team behind the festival made a genuine effort to engage the audience and filmmakers in discussion and debate which we appreciated and enjoyed

Myself and the director writer of our film Poison, attended the most recent Ranelagh Film Festival last May the 10th 2025, where we won best film. I'd just like to say that we had an excellent overall experience at the festival. The Stella cinema was a perfect venue with a great screen and sound, and nice big comfy chairs to sit in and relax.

But it wouldn't be a festival without it's organsiers! With that I would like to extend a huge thank you to Oisin, Justin, Jelena, William, Aiden and the Stella cinema who did an amazing job of hosting us and creating a fun atmosphere for all the film makers to enjoy!

We can't wait for next years!

  • The festival and their team run such a wonderful event. Our brilliant DOP Jaro Waldeck was delighted to attend, welcome the film and we were all over the moon for her award for Best Cinematography. Thanks to the entire team, and we'll see you again there next year!

The entire Ranelagh Arts Festival 2025 weekend was well worth traveling to Ireland from the U.S. The film festival portion was held in the beautiful, cozy Stella Theatre. I am so happy I submitted my doc-short for screening at this special festival.
