Coming from the world of music with the direction of music videos, studio recording and major coverage of international festivals, Rafael Beck made his debut in the field of fiction as art director in the short film “Eu e Crocodilos” shown at the Sundance Festival in 2019. After that, among his more commercial works he began directing original short films, including the 8mm stopmotion animation “Juanito” and the documentary “Movement for the Movement” about cultural resilience movements filmed in the state of NY.
He currently dedicates himself exclusively to film projects, opening a new season of productions, with his production company Estudio Gaveta, directing the short films “Colder”, “The Fire Walk With Me” and “the Girl Who Had no Fear” and also acting as producer and showrunner of a streaming series project called “Os Não Eles”.
