PT - Regulamento da RONCA - Mostra de Cinema de Elvas
Propósito:
a) A RONCA - Mostra de Cinema de Elvas tem como propósito principal promover o cinema português e as bandas sonoras de obras audiovisuais.
b) Através de uma seleção diversificada de filmes, incluindo curtas e longas-metragens de todos os gêneros, tanto de estudantes como de profissionais, a RONCA busca proporcionar uma experiência cinematográfica completa e enriquecedora.
c) Essa iniciativa também tem o objetivo de impulsionar o desenvolvimento de produções audiovisuais na região alentejana, promovendo e dinamizando a cultura audiovisual na zona. A mostra oferece uma plataforma para descobrir novos talentos criativos e seus projetos, estimulando um diálogo intercultural entre diversos talentos da região e além de suas fronteiras.
d) Além da exibição de filmes, a RONCA oferece concertos, exposições temporárias e masterclasses dedicadas ao cinema, produção audiovisual e música.
Missão e Valores:
a) A RONCA tem como missão promover e divulgar o cinema e suas bandas sonoras, proporcionando uma experiência sociocultural enriquecedora ao público e aos filmes, buscando o reconhecimento do cinema português como uma valiosa herança cultural que reflete nossa identidade e o mundo ao nosso redor.
b) A RONCA também busca ser uma porta de entrada para futuros investidores e visitantes em Elvas, incentivando o interesse da população local pela cultura cinematográfica e outras formas de arte na cidade. Além disso, estimula a dinamização dos diversos espaços culturais.
c) A mostra também se compromete a ser um meio para a integração e promoção de novos realizadores e suas equipas, fornecendo uma plataforma para que talentos emergentes sejam reconhecidos e admirados.
Secções:
a) Secção RONCA: Exibição de curtas-metragens de ficção e/ou documentários, nacionais, com duração de até 30 minutos, onde a banda sonora desempenhe um papel relevante e fundamental na narrativa.
b) Secção RONCA ESTUDANTE: Dedicada à área académica, exibe curtas-metragens de ficção e/ou documentários nacionais, produzidas por estudantes das áreas criativas, com duração de até 30 minutos.
c) Secção EUROCIDADE: Exibição de projetos de ficção e/ou documentários produzidos na região alentejena.
d) Secção RONCA ESPECIAL: Exibição de projetos de longa-metragem de ficção e/ou documentários nacionais e internacionais de renome, onde a Banda Sonora seja relevante e original.
e) Secção TEMÁTICA: revisita de projeto cinematográficos marcantes pela sua qualidade artística e relação com a música.
f) Nenhuma das secções mencionadas tem natureza competitiva.
Admissão:
a) São admitidos todos os tipos de filmes desde que incluam algum tipo de banda sonora fundamentada.
b) Não há limite quanto ao número de obras que cada participante pode inscrever.
c) Filmes com diálogos ou voz off em língua não portuguesa devem estar legendados em português.
d) Os filmes devem ser inscritos através da plataforma https://filmfreeway.com/RONCA-MostradeCinemadeElvas.
Prazos de inscrição:
a) Os filmes devem ser submetidos até 1 de dezembro de 2025. A data de encerramento das inscrições pode ser prolongada por decisão da organização, assim como a data de notificação e do evento.
Seleção:
a) A seleção dos filmes segue os seguintes critérios:
- Existência de banda sonora original e/ou fundamentada/relevante;
- Uso da banda sonora como elemento narrativo;
- Qualidade técnica e estética da obra;
- Coerência na montagem de todos os elementos cinematográficos.
b) A seleção final será anunciada através da plataforma FilmFreeway, por e-mail e nas redes sociais oficiais do evento.
c) Após o anúncio da seleção final, os filmes selecionados devem ser enviados no formato digital (ficheiro .MOV ou .MP4, resolução full HD e ficheiro DCP sem legendas, no caso de obras faladas em língua portuguesa), juntamente com o EPK e todos os materiais de promoção da obra.
d) A seleção será realizada por meio de curadoria definida pela organização do festival, garantindo que os membros do comitê de seleção não tenham envolvimento com nenhum trabalho submetido.
Utilização de materiais e exibição:
a) O detentor dos direitos de uma obra selecionada autoriza a utilização, edição, exibição e publicação dos materiais de promoção dessa obra (sinopses, stills do filme, cartazes, trailers, entrevistas, etc) e a publicação parcial da obra (até ao máximo de um minuto e meio), em qualquer formato e meio de divulgação, com o objetivo de promover o filme e o evento.
b) O detentor dos direitos de uma obra selecionada autoriza a organização a exibir publicamente o seu filme no âmbito do evento. A exibição das obras inscritas não prevê o pagamento de qualquer custo de aluguel ou fee de exibição.
c) O detentor dos direitos do filme é responsável por garantir que a sua obra cumpra todos os requisitos legais quando inclui propriedade intelectual de terceiros.
d) A organização reserva o direito de excluir qualquer obra previamente selecionada caso entenda que possa interferir no normal funcionamento do evento ou detecte que o realizador, produtor ou distribuidor não tenha assegurado os requisitos legais exigidos ou que não cumpra o presente regulamento.
Realização do evento:
a) A Ronca - Mostra de Cinema Musicado está previsto realizar-se durante o mês de março de 2025, em Elvas.
b) Se a organização for forçada a cancelar o evento nas datas previstas e não reúna condições para o seu adiamento, o evento poderá adotar o formato online.
c) A organização do festival não se responsabiliza pelos direitos autorais de quaisquer imagens, áudio, diálogos ou banda sonora de cada obra, sendo estas da total responsabilidade dos realizadores dos trabalhos inscritos no momento de submissão.

ENG - Regulations for RONCA - Mostra de Cinema de Elvas
Purpose
a) The main purpose of RONCA - Mostra de Cinema de Elvas is to promote Portuguese cinema and audiovisual soundtracks.
b) Through a diverse selection of films, including shorts and features of all genres, by both students and professionals, RONCA seeks to provide a complete and enriching cinematic experience.
c) This initiative also aims to boost the development of audiovisual productions in the Alentejo region, promoting and energizing audiovisual culture in the area. The show offers a platform to discover new creative talents and their projects, stimulating an intercultural dialog between diverse talents from the region and beyond its borders.
d) In addition to screening films, RONCA offers concerts, temporary exhibitions and masterclasses dedicated to cinema, audiovisual production and music.
Mission and Values:
a) RONCA's mission is to promote and disseminate cinema and its soundtracks, providing an enriching socio-cultural experience for audiences and films, seeking to recognize Portuguese cinema as a valuable cultural heritage that reflects our identity and the world around us.
b) RONCA also seeks to be a gateway for future investors and visitors to Elvas, encouraging the local population's interest in film culture and other art forms in the city. In addition, it stimulates the dynamization of the various cultural spaces.
c) The show is also committed to being a means for the integration and promotion of new filmmakers and their teams, providing a platform for emerging talents to be recognized and admired.
Sections:
a) RONCA Section: Screening of national short fiction and/or documentary films, lasting up to 30 minutes, where the soundtrack plays a relevant and fundamental role in the narrative.
b) RONCA STUDENT Section: Dedicated to the academic field, it screens national fiction and/or documentary short films produced by students in creative fields, lasting up to 30 minutes.
c) EUROCITY Section: Screening of fiction and/or documentary projects produced in the Alentejo region.
d) SPECIAL RONCA Section: Screening of renowned national and international feature-length fiction and/or documentary projects, where the soundtrack is relevant and original.
e) THEMATIC SECTION: revisiting outstanding film projects for their artistic quality and relationship with music.
f) None of the above sections are competitive.
Admission:
a) All types of films are admitted as long as they include a soundtrack of some kind.
b) There is no limit to the number of works each participant can submit.
c) Films with dialog or voice-over in a non-Portuguese language must be subtitled in Portuguese.
d) Films must be submitted via the platform https://filmfreeway.com/RONCA-MostradeCinemadeElvas.
Submission deadlines:
a) Films must be submitted by December 1, 2025. The closing date for submissions may be extended by decision of the organization, as well as the date of notification and the event.
Selection:
a) The selection of films follows the following criteria:
- Existence of an original and/or well-founded/relevant soundtrack;
- Use of the soundtrack as a narrative element;
- Technical and aesthetic quality of the work;
- Coherence in the editing of all cinematographic elements.
b) The final selection will be announced via the FilmFreeway platform, by email and on the event's official social networks.
c) After the announcement of the final selection, the selected films must be sent in digital format (.MOV or .MP4 file, full HD resolution and DCP file without subtitles, in the case of works spoken in Portuguese), together with the EPK and all the promotional materials for the work.
d) The selection will be made by a curator defined by the festival organization, ensuring that the members of the selection committee have no involvement with any work submitted.
Use of materials and exhibition:
a) The rights holder of a selected work authorizes the use, editing, exhibition and publication of the promotional materials for that work (synopses, stills from the film, posters, trailers, interviews, etc.) and the partial publication of the work (up to a maximum of one and a half minutes), in any format and medium, with the aim of promoting the film and the event.
b) The rights holder of a selected work authorizes the organization to publicly screen their film as part of the event. The screening of submitted works does not involve the payment of any rental costs or screening fees.
c) The film rights holder is responsible for ensuring that their work complies with all legal requirements when it includes third party intellectual property.
d) The organization reserves the right to exclude any previously selected work if it deems that it may interfere with the normal running of the event or detects that the director, producer or distributor has not ensured the required legal requirements or does not comply with these regulations.
Staging of the event:
a) Ronca - Mostra de Cinema Musicado is scheduled to take place during the month of March 2025, in Elvas.
b) If the organization is forced to cancel the event on the scheduled dates and is unable to postpone it, the event may adopt an online format.
c) The festival organization is not responsible for the copyright of any images, audio, dialogues or soundtrack of each work, which are the sole responsibility of the directors of the works registered at the time of submission.
