That's an important guideline for the films showcased at RMDFF. By focusing on films that incorporate sign language and explore Deaf culture, as well as sharing personal experiences within the Deaf community, the festival ensures a rich and authentic representation of Deaf perspectives. This emphasis not only promotes understanding and appreciation of Deaf culture but also provides a platform for Deaf filmmakers and artists to express themselves authentically.
