International Artist Residency for creative writing and visual development of animation projects, organized by APA, Association of Animation Producers of Córdoba and APA LAB, Latin American Laboratory for the Development of Animation Projects.

The residency is designed to provide residents with a space and dedicated time to work on their projects, immersed in the inspiring natural environment of the Mountains of Córdoba, away from everyday demands and concerns, fostering inspiration and creative work, as well as exchange with peers and the community.

Residents will have extended work time on their projects, allowing them to focus on creative writing, experimentation, and visual exploration. They will also receive personalized mentoring from renowned Latin American animation professionals. Additionally, residents will have the opportunity to participate in meetings with local animation artists and producers, engage in writing in nature activities, visit animation studios, and discover the Quirino Cristiani Animation Production Center.

The selected participants will have access to the following benefits and activities:

- Transfers from the airport or bus terminal in Córdoba to the residency location (Unquillo).
- Accommodation for 10 nights in the city of Unquillo, at Casa Mansa or similar place. (https://www.instagram.com/casamansasierras/)
- Excursion day in the Mountains, including a visit to Wildthings animation studio in Villa Giardino, with transportation, mountain hike, and bonfire dinner.
- Visit to the Quirino Cristiani Animation Production Center.
- Creative writing session by the river and visit to the Buffo Chapel in Unquillo.
- Consultations in direction and screenwriting with renowned Latin American animation directors and screenwriters.
- Open studio/Meeting with the local artist community in Unquillo and animation producers from Córdoba.
- Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner included during the residency.

The residency does not include materials for visual development, transportation from the place of origin, medical insurance, or anything not specified in these terms and conditions. The organization reserves the right to change the accommodation location to one with similar characteristics if necessary.

The organization reserves the right to make any changes to the schedule of activities.

The residency organizers and members of APA will not make any interventions in the residents' work. However, the authors must commit to including the RIA international Residency, APA Lab, and APA logos in all audiovisual materials related to the series, short film, or feature film.

The residency will only accept projects in the initial stage of idea, research, preliminary development, and visual exploration. The outcome of the work will be fully owned by the authors.

The Residency will welcome eight (8) creators with their projects.

A committee of specialists will select 8 projects, and up to two representatives per project may participate. The selection criteria will take into consideration the commitment and value of the author's perspective, creative quality, and the participants' motivation regarding the project as well as the work and exchange process that will take place during the residency.

- Letter of intent, explaining why it is important for the creators to participate in the residency.
- Description of the project and processes to be carried out during the residency.
- Links or images of previous works, moodboards, sketches, designs or any other audiovisual element relevant to the interpretation of the project.
- Summarized curriculum vitae of the participant.

For the selected projects, the contribution fee will be $1.000 USD.

To secure a place in the residency, a 50% payment must be made within 15 days after the selection announcement.
Failure to make the payment will result in the opportunity being given to another project.
Payments can be made via PayPal, MercadoPago (in Argentina), cash, or other agreed-upon methods with the organization.
