Calling all Queer dancers! Now accepting film submissions for the inaugural Queer Dance Film Festival (QDFF), a dazzling showcase of LGBTQIA+ performances from across the globe.

Created by and for the queer dance community, our mission is to uplift LGBTQIA+ artists while challenging homophobia and gender norms. QDFF gives us the spotlight we all deserve.

We're bringing in shining stars from all over the Gaylaxy, and seeking out dance films from queer, trans, and gender-nonconfirming BIPOC movement artists.

The Queer Dance Film Festival promotes the visibility and expression of LGBTQ+ dancers worldwide. It is free to submit to the festival. The festival does not offer funds for the creation or screening of selected films.

All selected films will receive Official Selection laurels.

Best Ensemble Film 2023

Best Soloist Film 2023

Best Partnered Film 2023

Audience Choice 2023

Grand Jury 2023

Rules/Specifications
- Films must show an original dance performance
- Films must feature predominantly LGBTQ+ dancers
- Filmed in HD, 1920x1080 or greater
- Films must be professional and creative
- Between 2-5 minutes

Terms
- The submitter gives the event organizers the right to screen the film digitally on June 4, 2023.
- The event organizers may use the film's stills and clips for promotional materials for QDFF and future events.
- The submitter guarantees that they own all the needed copyright's for the film to be shown in this event.
