Queer Agenda International Film Festival is an LGBTQ film festival that embraces diverse perspectives within the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community. In October 2024, we'll be showcasing on the next edition of the film festival featuring queer perspective short, documentary films, and investigation pieces.

We extend an invitation to both international and UK filmmakers to submit short films of 30 minutes maximum runtime focusing on a current affairs or news topic related to the LGBT community or seen through a queer perspective.

Situated in the North West of England near Manchester, MediaCityUK is home to the new headquarters of major British TV channels BBC and ITV, as well as the University of Salford campus where Queer Agenda Film Festival will be held. The chosen date precedes Manchester's Pride parade, honoring the city's status as having the second-largest LGBT population in the UK and being the filming location of the British version of the hit TV series Queer As Folk.

Let's make our voices heard and showcase the diverse stories, lives, and experiences within our community. Join us in celebrating the fun, acknowledging the freedom (or lack thereof), and looking toward the future through Queer Agenda!
