ENGLISH VERSION
The festival will be held from March 22 to 24, 2024 at Cinéma Le Hublot (44490 Le Croisic, France)
The P'tits Beurres festival was born out of a desire to promote short films in a region where film shoots multiply every year.
The short-film format is often used as a way of making yourself known, learning and proving yourself, so you can be able to move on to feature films or television.
Whether self-produced or accompanied by a production company, with little or no budget, or with more substantial means, the aim of the festival is to promote and share the work of filmmakers.
Whether they're making their first short film, or have already made one, or several, films.
As a director and screenwriter, I know and understand how difficult it is to stand out from the crowd and be noticed.
Having been selected in France and internationally for my last three short films, and having been a jury member at two festivals, I was inspired to create a festival that celebrates short films.
The name of the festival comes from the famous French biscuits "Petits beurres nantais", created in 1886 by Louis Lefèvre-Utile, in Nantes.
