The 4th annual PrideFull Fest will run from September 13th through September 22, 2024*!

PrideFull is a New York-based film festival by and for Queer and Trans People of Color. We curate and screen innovative films that center LGBTQIA2S+ people of color and their stories. Visit our website for the previous lineup.

PrideFull started in 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic and right after the Black Lives Matter movement, with a mission to create an open, safe, community-driven space where we can celebrate and appreciate stories that represent ourselves, and support each other. We bring QTBIPOC filmmakers and audiences together, create a platform to amplify our own voices and share resources, and ultimately make the film industry more inclusive, equitable, queer & colorful!

We are currently waiving festival submission fees for QTBIPOC filmmakers who are transgender, immigrants, and/or sex workers. To request a waiver code, please email pridefullofficial@gmail.com with detailed information on your eligible project.

PrideFull is a hybrid festival with in-person screenings in NYC and online streaming.

* Exact festival dates are subject to change within September 2024.

PrideFull is not an awarded festival. We celebrate all QTBIPOC films with full appreciation and excitement!

Films should center Queer and Trans BIPOC stories and characters. We accept narrative, documentary, experimental, and animated films, both feature-length and short.

Every film needs to have English captions, preferably with dialogue and sound.

By submitting your work to PrideFull, you grant PrideFull a non-exclusive license to use an excerpt of your submission, if accepted, of up to a minute, for promotional purposes.
