We accept Short Films 1-44 minutes. Feature Films 45-180 minutes. Documentary Films 1-180 minutes. Music Videos under 10 minutes. Short Screenplays 1-49 pages. Screenplays 50-180 pages.
Must be online for our judges to view either publicly or privately with a password. Once submitted you (FILMMAKER) are agreeing to the following:
I, the Filmmaker, wish to have my film (hereon referred to as project) included in the Port Sensation Film Festival (hereon referred to as PSFF). I grant the PSFF its officers, agencies and employees and the festival’s sponsors the right to show for promotional purposes through any media outlet included but not limited to; the PSFF website, on sponsors websites, flyers, posters, press releases, etc. any material including the project and/or photos, logos and related items submitted by me with this application. I also hereby agree to my film be shown on the PSFF website during the festival period and after if accepted
All entries and decisions are subject to the discretion of the Port Sensation Film Festival. By submitting you verify that you own all rights to the materials submitted. You hereby grant the Port Sensation Film Festival permission to use clips of your work for promotion and publicity on the website or websites; as well as permission to exhibit your submission in part or entirety through online, live exhibition, or other methods. Submission entry fees are non refundable.
I realize that the PSFF is an online platform with winning films being showcased on their website. I allow for them to showcase and broadcast my film on their site and related sites they are associated with for purposes of furthering the exposure of the winning films.
I hereby release, discharge and agree to hold harmless the PSFF it’s officers, agencies and employees, and any venue that shows project, its officers, agencies and employees, the PSFF sponsors from and against any liability as a result of any use, distortion, blurring or alteration that may occur or be introduced in any use or broadcast of the material. This Release and Hold Harmless Agreement shall bind my assigns and any representative.
I waive any and all rights to compensation for any broadcast, duplication, and advertising of any project presented at the PSFF. All ownership of all projects remains with the personnel who contributed the project. I own all material submitted with application and that will be viewed at PSFF.
I hereby certify that I am over eighteen years of age and competent to contract in my own name. If I am submitting and therefore agreeing to these terms on behalf of an organization, I certify that I have authority to do so and that my doing so binds the organization and its performers to all elements of this contract.
I have read the foregoing release and authorization and agreement, before submitting my film and warrant that I fully understand the contents thereof.
