Playlist Film Festival is a cinematic evening composed as a carefully curated sequence of images, moods, and short stories blending elements of fairy tales, music videos, and sci-fi visions by Hradec-based creator Petr Chroustovský.

Playlist LIVE will take place on April 4 at Bio Central Cinema in Hradec Králové, Czechia showcasing a vision of the very latest in AI-assisted filmmaking of all short genre.

Playlist is a small festival with a big appetite—its mission is to inspire, connect, and entertain. We bring together genres, break boundaries, and celebrate creativity without unnecessary pretension. We welcome short films that have something to say—whether it’s comedy, sci-fi, animated fairytales, or bold experimental work.

Playlist is not just about films—it’s about shared experience. If your film inspires, connects, and entertains, submit it and become part of a small festival with a big appetite.

Rules & Terms

By submitting your film, you agree that the festival may display the film title, director name, country, category, poster/still image and short synopsis on the festival website and related promotional materials.

⚠️ SUBMIT ONLY AI FILMS
All films NOT MADE without using of AI will be disqualified.

👨🏻‍💻 All films submitted must have AI as the major source of content created (images, videos, animations) and created during the year before festival year.

🚫 All films not made using AI tools will be disqualified don't submit. (this is a AI Festival, nothing agains them, we also love them).

🚫 Trailers are not welcome, we are not against making Trailers using AI. But our focus with the festival is to highlight Short-Films that tell an engaging story, not trailers. (nothing personal, hope we are still cool).

🕥 Films must have between 2 and 20 minutes of duration max.

👨🏻‍⚖️ You must own all the Copyrights of your work. By submitting autorize us to screen your work in the cinema and embed your YouTube film in our online playlist with the winners to increase your exposure.

👍🏻 Your film don't need to be exclusive to our Festival, you can submit works that you already submitted to other festivals in 2025, all good.

💥 It's OK to have some small post production using classical tools like After Effects, but majority of the film must be created with AI.

✏️ It's OK if your script was not created using AI tools like GPT (maybe even better), but both are accepted.

🗣️ If your film is not in English you must provide a version with English subtitles. If your film receives an award and will be screened at an award event, it must have Czech SUBTITLES.
