Pineapple Animation Festival is a young, but already well-established animation film festival.
Works by different authors are gathered in one place. Created in completely different styles and directions, they convey the amazing atmosphere of modern animation.
Our festival is a great way to make a name for yourself at an international competition, present your vision of modern animation, and also get to know the cultural capital and history of Bratislava.
The works are evaluated by members of the jury, and participants are selected as honestly as possible. Our goal is to reveal unusual and unique talents and show different views on animation.

Awards & Prizes

Based on the results of the annual program, we will invite the best participants of our program in their categories to the annual event in Marbella, Spain.

On the day of the event, a buffet reception, screening of animated films, presentation of certificates, evening awards and presentation of prizes to the best authors are planned.

Rules & Terms

Date & Genre - The Pineapple Animation Film Festival is open to all animated films of any genre and style, produced any year.

Release - The festival does not impose any restrictions on the film in terms of its release status or its availability on the Internet.

Judges - The jury's decision will be final and not subject to appeal. The winners of the festival will be announced at a closing ceremony of the film festival.

Promotional Materials - We can use trailer/teaser/film poster/stills for promotional purpose (but do not release, under any form or circumstances, the full film)

Submissions - Submissions in multiple categories are permitted
