Peter Gašparík (1977, Bratislava, Slovakia) studied film directing at Bratislava’s Acad- emy of Performing Arts. He has also been a student and fellow at the New York Film Academy, the University of Bologna and CIFAP in Paris, making shorts as he went:
I Love NY in New York, Everything Is Different (Všetko je inak) in Italy, and Three Dreams
(Tri sny) at home in Bratislava, as well as the documentary Wall Poets (Básnici stien), about graffiti writers in the 1990s. The intimate documentary Tereza – The Charge of Love is Gašparík’s feature-length debut. Aside from directing, he also pursues literature, having authored three books to date.
