Footprints - Fights in Banska Stiavnica

The film is a search for Peter Gasparik´s grandfather, who was a resistance fighter and concealed the persecuted, defectors and Jews during World War II. At the same time he was a police superintendent in Stiavnicke Bane and his duties largely compresed diversionary and reconnaissance activities. He was a spy. And after the war he was democratic politician. His grandson never met him and so his quest will be to uncover not only him as a person, but also the war time events in Banska Stiavnica region. Through private history we get to global history.
