Paula Calle Luzuriaga was born in 1999 in the Ecuadorian province of Cañar's Azogues city.

She attended education both in her birthplace and in the Amazon region of Ecuador, where she encountered numerous wonderful and mythological elements that inform the analysis of her cinematic works.

After receiving her International Baccalaureate diploma, she made the decision to continue her study at the Universidad de las Artes in Guayaquil, Ecuador. As a student at the Film School, she is presently pursuing an itinerary in script and directing.

She has taken part in UArtes' political community and contributes to various cultural endeavors.

She is currently involved in independent temp work as well as personal animation, experimental, and graphic design projects.
