Grew up on a diet of Rob Reiner, Christopher Guest and Adam McKay. Got into Martin Scorsese and David Gordon Green. Lately, I've enjoyed thoughtful auteur filmmakers like Denis Villeneuve, and daring new stories like the Safdie Brothers' "Good Time".

Paul Walter Hauser began his career in the Midwest, performing stand up comedy, which lead him to Los Angeles to pursue comedic acting and writing. In his first few years, he booked roles in the popular sitcoms "Community", "Key & Peele" and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia". But Paul is equally passionate about drama, having worked opposite a range of dramatic actors including Adam Driver, Jennifer Connelly, and Margot Robbie. Paul's sights are set on writing, producing and directing his own material. He began with writing and producing gigs at Food Network and the WWE, and he recently completed writing and directing 3 short films, "Messy", "Kiss Me When I'm Down", and the upcoming "Heirloom". Paul was last seen in the Oscar-winning films "I, Tonya" and Spike Lee's "BlacKkKlansman". He can next be seen opposite William Zabka in Season 2 of YouTube's hit series "Cobra Kai" and opposite Emma Thompson in the Sundance-breakout hit "Late Night". He is represented for theatrical and literary at CAA and Artists First.
