The Seattle Erotic Art Festival, along with its parent organization the Pan Eros Foundation, is excited to present the fourth annual Pan Eros Film Festival at the SIFF Film Center in the Seattle Center. We welcome erotic art films that will engage you, titillate you, and make you think.

We are accepting two types of submissions: Short Film and Silent Film.

SHORT FILM:
A selection of short films under 15 minutes in length will be screened in-person at the Pan Eros Film Festival in SIFF Film Center. There are five screenings scheduled on May 3-4, 2025. We strongly encourage story-telling that tells unique narratives across the broad spectrum of gender and human sexuality. Short films of all genres are permitted.

SILENT FILM:
A selection of silent films under 15 minutes in length will be shown continuously for three full days at the Seattle Erotic Art Festival in Exhibition Hall from May 2-4, 2025. Films not intended to be silent films at their creation but have audio removed are acceptable as entries. Short Film Entries may be asked to participate in the Silent Film category.

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION:
For over two decades, the Pan Eros Foundation’s mission has been to celebrate and cultivate sexuality through the arts and education. Our goal is to create a better world by promoting respectful interaction through consent education. We aim to move society into acceptance of consensual sexuality as a healthy, integral part of being human. We support people in finding the type and amount of pleasure and intimacy that is right for them, respecting the spectrum from asexual to omnisexual.

THE EVENT:
After the inaugural screening, all filmmakers in attendance will be invited to take part in a short Q&A to talk about their film. A panel will be held on Sunday May 4, which we welcome all filmmakers to participate.

All selected filmmakers will receive laurels and be given an Artist Pass to the Seattle Erotic Art Festival. Laurels will be awarded to all selected filmmakers, with special laurels awarded to Best in Show, Best Foreign Short, Audience Choice, and Best Silent Film.

Couldn't participate but the communication was impressive! The organiser is a passionate creator who makes you experience the festival even if you're not there with news, mails and a recap video!

Brodin is fantastic and did everything he could to be there and allow filmmakers who were far from the festival to still enjoy it.
Excellent communication. A very large festival, very honest, and offering a variety of events. I would have loved to be there. Thank you for selecting my film, and thank you to the audience, who seem truly fantastic.

A tender celebration of bold intimacy and cinematic freedom.
Participating in the Pan Eros Film Festival was a rare and heartfelt honor. “Birthday” was not only warmly received but awarded Best Foreign Short — a recognition that deeply touched our team.

What sets PEFF apart is its sincere commitment to erotic cinema as an art form. The festival embraces vulnerability, diversity, and playfulness without ever compromising on curatorial thoughtfulness. The screenings were beautifully arranged, the audience was warm and open-minded, and the communication with the organizers—especially Brodin—was generous and attentive.

The inclusion of Virtual Q&As made the experience feel personal, even from afar. I felt truly seen not just as a filmmaker, but as an artist.

Thank you, PEFF, for creating space for work that dares to be both tender and provocative. I look forward to returning with future creations and witnessing the festival grow year by year.

Highly recommended to all artists whose work lives on the edge of desire and beauty.
