RULES AND TERMS
• NO ENTRY FEE
• There is no limit time for films.
• Works must have been completed after January 1, 2022.
• The festival accepts the formats: digital, super8mm, 16mm and 35mm. For submissions viewing, films must be digital: H264, МР4. After a film is selected to be part of the official festival programme, the organiser will contact each author in order to determine the exact technical requirements regarding the screening of their film.
• It is responsibility of the directors to transport the analogue materials both to Curitiba and return values. The festival is not responsible for any damage or international customs problems that may be caused during the transport of the materials.
• Maximum of 2 entries per person. Separate entry form for each entry.
• The festival accepts links from streaming sites such as vimeo, youtube or google drive. It can be a private link or with a password.
• If an applying film wich texts or spoken is not in Portuguese or English, it is mandatory that it has appropriately embedded English subtitles. For all the films selected in the competition programme, the festival team will translate and produce subtitles in Portuguese. In this case, the author must provide a CORRECT TIMECODE SRT file in English.
• Applicants agree to allow festival organizers use of accepted works for promotional materials at the official website, news channels, official social medias, catalog, and up to 10 seconds of the films for teasers and other audiovisual materials. Pan-Cinema Experimental - Curitiba Int`l Exp. Film Festival is allowed to use this information for publicity and advertising purposes only.
• The applicant party must have full authority to submit their film to the Pan-Cinema Experimental and to own the copyright of the work. The festival is not responsible for any claims made by a third party regarding copyright and related rights.
• The selected candidate accepts to exhibit their films at Curitiba Cinematheque movie theater, and in online sessions through the event's official internet platform, only for the duration of the festival.
• Accepted applicants agree to send high resolution screening copies of selected works and requested publicity materials – or to make them available for download – by September 15, 2023.
• The festival has no awards, but all those selected will receive a certificate of participation. The shipping of these materials is at the expense of the festival.
• The festival does not pay travel costs, but it may provide an allowance for accommodation in the city of Curitiba during the festival.
• Deadline for entry: June 06, 2023.
• Notification of selection status: on or before September 9, 2023.
• In the event of a return to pandemic viewing restrictions, the festival will be moved to a total online format.
• By submitting an application the applicant agrees to all the conditions in this RULES AND TERMS section regarding participation in Pan-Cinema Experimental – Curitiba Int`l Exp. Film Festival.

REGRAS E TERMOS

• Os filmes podem ter qualquer duração.
• As obras devem ter sido concluídas após 1º de janeiro de 2022.
• O festival aceita os formatos: digital, super8mm, 16mm e 35mm. Para visualização de inscrições, filmes devem ser digitais: H264, МР4. Depois que um filme é selecionado para fazer parte do programa oficial do festival, o organizador entrará em contato com cada autor para determinar os requisitos técnicos exatos relativos à exibição de seu filme.
• É de responsabilidade dos diretores o envio dos materiais analógicos tanto para Curitiba, como os valores de devolução. O festival não se responsabiliza por quaisquer danos ou problemas alfandegários que possam ser causados durante o transporte dos materiais.
• Máximo de 2 inscrições por pessoa. Cada filme deve ser inscrito separadamente.
• O festival aceita links de sites de streaming como vimeo, youtube ou google drive. O filme pode ser um link privado ou com uma senha de acesso.
• Filmes com textos ou falas em língua estrangeira devem ser legendados em inglês ou português e é obrigatório que as legendas sejam devidamente incorporadas. Neste caso, o autor deve fornecer um arquivo CORRETO TIMECODE SRT em português ou inglês.
• Os candidatos concordam que os organizadores do festival se utilizem dos trabalhos selecionados para materiais promocionais no site oficial, canais de notícias, mídias sociais oficiais, catálogo e até 10 segundos dos filmes para teasers e outros materiais em vídeo. O Pan-Cinema Experimental – Festival Internacional de Curitiba tem permissão para usar essas informações apenas para fins de divulgação.
• O candidato deve ter plena autoridade para submeter seu filme ao Pan-Cinema Experimental – Festival Internacional de Curitiba e possuir os direitos autorais da obra. O festival não se responsabiliza por quaisquer reclamações feitas por terceiros sobre direitos autorais e direitos relacionados.
• O candidato selecionado aceita exibir seus filmes na sala de cinema da Cinemateca de Curitiba e em sessões online, pela plataforma de internet oficial do evento, apenas pelo período em que durar o festival.
• Os candidatos selecionados concordam em enviar cópias de seus filmes em alta resolução e materiais de publicidade solicitados – ou disponibilizar-los para download – até 15 de setembro de 2023.
• O festival não possui premiação, mas todos os selecionados receberão certificado de participação. O envio destes materiais é responsabilidade da organização do festival.
• O festival não paga despesas de viagem mas pode fornecer uma ajuda de custo para hospedagem na cidade de Curitiba, durante o festival.
• Prazo de inscrição: 06 de junho de 2023.
• Publicação da seleção: até 09 de setembro de 2023.
• Em caso de retorno às restrições sanitárias da pandemia do Covid-19, o festival será movido para um formato totalmente online.
• Ao se inscrever o candidato concorda com todas as condições da seção de REGRAS E TERMOS do Pan-Cinema Experimental –Festival Internacional de Curitiba.
