Port Horror Festival is an annual celebration of the Horror Genre in film, art, music, and media, in Port Hope, Ontario. Nestled in the Town of Port Hope, the filming location of the exterior of "Derry Maine" in all of the most recent "IT" movies it also offers a unique experiences of local horror legends ! WE will have 2 screening locations and contests, activities, walking tours, art installations, music, a costume party experience and more that establishes why Port Hope is the horror destination of your nightmares!

Rules & Terms

This festival is featuring independant short horror genre films. We are looking for the best of the best. It does not have to be produced recently and does not need to be a world premiere. The films must be 15 minutes max. All submissions must be at least 1080p (Full HD) or preferably 4k and must provide a digital copy of the film. If you have a project that you think would be a good fit, but does not meet this criteria email porthorrorfestival@gmail.com before submitting.
