Project-Nerd teamed up with Colorado Festival Productions for the first annual Project-Nerd Film Festival in Boulder Colorado, on August 6, 2022.

The festival received over 80 submissions, showcased over 25 amazing films, and gave out 8 deserving awards.

Rules & Terms

Thanks so much for choosing to submit your film to the Project-Nerd Film Festival. The Curators at the Project-Nerd Film Festival look forward to watching your film and giving it an opportunity to screen in our Film Festival.

SUBMISSION MATERIALS
We highly encourage you to submit ALL submission materials online through FilmFreeway. If online entry is not possible, please submit a Blu Ray or DVD. Please do not include any promotional materials in your submission. We will collect high-resolution photographs of official selection films once they have been accepted into the Festival.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Film entries may be of any of the categories specified, from any country, and of any length. Submitted films should either be in English or include English subtitles. If the film is selected for the Festival, it is the responsibility of the filmmaker to provide the Project-Nerd Film Festival Curators with an exhibition copy.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
If you chose to submit your film by mail you are responsible for all shipping charges and for any customs clearances and/or associated fees and taxes. Entry materials will not be returned unless specified. All Filmmakers will be added to our mailing list.

    So excited to hear that Apeulogy was selected to be included in this year's festival! Great communication and an absolutely stellar line-up, too! Unfortunately due to a last-minute work commitment, I was unable to attend the event - but looking forward to submitting again next year!

    I cannot rate the hospitailty or networking aspect of the festival because we were unable to attend this year. As for communication, the BFABF team was always on-point re. the exhibition times and details, and everyone was and friendly and attentive. Their quality of their film program was very strong, and overall it was well worth submitting as we won the Audience Award for Best Short Documentary! Thank you BFABF!
