After each screening, a Q&A will be held with the filmmaking team and/or a scientist, specialized in the film's topics.

PARISCIENCE's program reflects the advances and concerns of science and the people who make it. By reflecting the major scientific and societal issues of our time, the festival invites citizens to take ownership of tomorrow's problems through debates held after each screening.

En restituant les grandes interrogations scientifiques et sociétales contemporaines, le festival invite les citoyen·nes à s’approprier les problématiques de demain à travers des débats qui se tiennent à l’issue de chaque projection.

Submission of a film to our festival via the Platform constitutes the submitter’s full, unconditional, and irrevocable acknowledgment, acceptance, and agreement to be legally bound by the attached "Rules and Regulations" in their entirety.

⚛ PARISCIENCE is a free festival aimed at the general public, schools (from primary to high school), students and professionals in the audiovisual, science and scientific communication sectors.

⚛ Eligible films include documentaries, fiction and animated films that convey scientific information and questions.

⚛ All scientific disciplines can be covered.

⚛ All film lengths are accepted, from short to feature-length. The year of production must be 2025 or 2026.

⚛ Films must be submitted to the call for entries in a French or English version, or with French or English subtitles.

⚛ Films entered in the 2025 call for entries may not be resubmitted for selection.

⚛ A film selected and screened as part of the Festival is not automatically selected for competition.

⚛ PARISCIENCE est un festival gratuit et à destination du grand public, du public scolaire (de la primaire jusqu’au lycée) et des professionnels de l’audiovisuel, de la science et de la communication scientifique.

⚛ Sont éligibles les films documentaires, de fiction et d’animation, qui véhiculent des informations et questionnements scientifiques.

⚛ Toutes les disciplines scientifiques peuvent être abordées.

⚛ Toutes les durées de film sont acceptées, du court au long métrage. L’année de production doit être 2025 ou 2026.

⚛ Les films doivent être présentés à l’appel à films dans une version française ou anglaise ou sous-titrée en français ou en anglais.

⚛ Les films inscrits à l’appel à films de 2025 ne peuvent pas être présentés à nouveau à la sélection.

⚛ Un film sélectionné et projeté dans le cadre du Festival n’est pas automatiquement retenu pour concourir aux compétitions.

    With so many big issues constantly competing for media attention in our world, Pariscience provides a refreshing venue to remind people that science can both inform and inspire society. We were delighted by the audience response to our screening, there were many more questions about the film’s production and science than we have encountered at any other festival venue. This is a true meeting spot for cinematic science!
