Welcome to the Outer Banks Film Festival! We accept and screen films of all kinds. We aim to bring art and community to the OBX community in a way that never has before. Filmmakers are invited to spend a weekend by the ocean networking and watching a quality slate of films we have worked hard to procure.
We are looking for an approximate total of 50 films to fill the screens of movie theaters, hotels and beach front screens.
Awards include: Best Narrative Feature, Best Narrative Short, Best Documentary Feature, Best Documentary Short, and an Audience's Choice Award.
In the first year of OBXFF we are working extra hard to make sure our filmmakers, patrons and locals alike are all blown away with the top films that truly embrace the art of filmmaking.
