Oska Bright is the world’s leading film festival for films made by or featuring learning disabled and autistic people. Our 12th edition in 2026 was jam-packed, presenting over 100 films across 14 strands and a busy public programme.

We are a BAFTA and BIFA-qualifying festival which screens groundbreaking films, hosts workshops, panel discussions, Q&As and networking opportunities for filmmakers through our industry events. We kick off our festival with a special opening night and finish it by celebrating the work of our incredible filmmakers with a spectacular awards ceremony.

All selected films are not only shown at our festival in Brighton, but will also have the opportunity to tour as part of 'Oska Bright Presents'!

Oska Bright is supported by the BFI and Arts Council England.

There are eight award categories, including Best Performance, Best Story and Women in Film. Some of our headline award sponsors include Adult Swim, Studio Canal and Plus Accounting.

There were some amazing films selected from a bunch of incredibly talented, diverse filmmakers and it was an absolute honour for my film "Clara" to be part of it.
