Ondřej Veverka was born in Tvarožná Lhota near Strážnice in South Moravia. He is involved in both directing fiction and documentary films. In the field of filmmaking he also works as a scriptwriter and editor. He graduated with a master's degree from The Film Academy of Miroslav Ondříček in Písek (FAMO) in 2023.

However, his hobbies include not only work connected with film, but also playing guitar, drawing, searching with a metal detector, reading, hiking and many others. He is a person who simply does not like to spend time doing nothing.
