Calvary

A story of two brothers, Slávek and Jožka, takes place on the background of a traditional folk party in Strážnice (south Moravia). The younger Jožka was forced to end a secret relationship with Anna, who is the wife of a rich, but very rude local man, Francek. Slavek not only hid his brothers love affair, but he even covered it. And as the saying goes - nothing lasts forever - not even secrets. And on this night full of dancing, singing and wine everyone takes a drink from the bitter cup of truth.
